Dear Santeeswapper LLC,

If its Sunday then you probably know that today is traditionally the biggest day for 7-day auctions to end in the Boy Scout category of eBay. I'm starting you off on the right foot with a great medal picture here that is climbing the charts and ending soon. All the other links in this newsletter are to similar auctions that have bids and are ending in less than 48 hours on eBay. Vintage Scouting Auctions Always N Demand

If you like your Scouting collectibles with a little age and pedigree to them then you are in the right place. There are a number of neat small mixed lots today that you really need to see. I've got four of them as text links here and some have some real hidden jewels that shrewd eBay watchers have already spotted I'm sure.

Order of the Arrow Auctions Getting Bids

I don't think its a stellar day for OA listings but among the ones I could find these are the picks I'm going with. There are some modern issues here but as well all know some of those are tough.

Scouting Memorabilia Ending Sun. - Mon.

I think a lot of the action on a 7-day listing happens right at the end so that's why many of these picks are just now being featured in the Hot Finds. Probably 75% of the listings in this edition are closing Sunday with the rest holding over one more day.

I started off today's Hot Finds picks with a great medal and I figured that would also be a good way to end it. This beauty is obviously a Life Saving medal and its being offered up by the same seller. His reserves have been met on both of these so we know they are going to find a new home.

Scouting Hot Finds Best Boy Scout Memorabilia Top 10 Episode 14

It is not very often that the Boy Scout category of eBay produces an auction that goes for nearly $4K. In fact all of last year it only happened a handful of times. So the pair of awesome sashes that sold last week are worthy of a shout-out for any Scouting collector. This Top 10 video contains the best sellers from last week including first OA flaps, a beautiful Eagle Scout ring and much more.

Greetings!

This email catches the tail end of a listing special that eBay ran last week. Therefore, for once Friday is a really big day for auctions to end in the Boy Scout category of eBay. You might be surprised to find that there are several $100+ auctions getting bids this go around. Click on any text or picture link to see what the bidding is up to on these listings which have less than 48 hours til they end.

Vintage Scouting Auctions Going For Gold

You won't believe what that tiny Ranger Award knot is going for. Then again try its neighbor the Union Council CSPs if you really want to see some jaw-dropping bidding.

Order of the Arrow Shooting Onward and Upward

A Lodge 104 S1 doesn't normally go for $300+ but either this one is extremely mint or there is a bidding war going on. There are a couple of other noteworthy OA pieces from the Tarheel state up for bids including that old 6A fellowship patch that is doing well.

Rounding Out the Hot Finds With More Picks

A few of these listings are in the $20-$25 range even though they have multiple bids. The exception would be the scarce 1960 patch that is up over the century mark already.
