Friday Morning Hot Finds

The Weekend Update is published every Friday morning and covers a roughly 48-hour window in the Boy Scout category of eBay. The first Weekend Update edition was published on April 24, 2009. Some of the core pieces of that first email newsletter can still be find in this edition. Specifically, you will see a feature on the best sold items from the last week on eBay. Usually I'll have between 15-20 of the top selling items with links so you can check them out. The other thing that you often see in the Weekend Update edition is links to fresh posts on my other sites such as Patchblanket.com, 2010Jambo.com, or even this site ScoutingHotFinds.com. Lately, I've been stuffing the email with plenty of live Hot Finds to compliment the other editions.

eBay Scouting Hot Finds Weekend Update: Closing Out 2011 In Style

I'd like to let you know that I'm going to push up my publishing schedule a little because of the holiday and publish the "Sunday" issue a day early on Saturday morning. It will still feature the best live auctions ending Sunday and Monday but it will come out a day earlier this week. Hey even your Hot Finds editor has to have some fun on New Years Eve instead of typing away on the computer. Happy New Year!

eBay Scouting Hot Finds Weekend Update: Going Multimedia On You
Well after several weeks of hints and clues I finally busted out this week with some audio and visual to augment the newsletter. Tuesday I published a Scouting Hot Finds Podcast which was followed Wednesday by a Top 10 Video. You can find links for both of these in the block below for the blog site. Well I admit I was wrong. In the last issue I said there would be fifteen thousand auctions running by today because of the penny listing special that eBay ran Tuesday. Turns out the true number is closer to twenty-two thousand! Now seeing as this email covers only items ending on Friday/Saturday you can see its going to be a big week for Scouting memorabilia collectors.

With the Boy Scout category hovering around 10k live auctions I hope you will find this issue of the Scouting Hot Finds particularly helpful in that I've gone all the way from A-Z in order to bring you the listings that collectors are bidding on. The item with the biggest price figure in this issue is just over $275 with the lowest being just under $20. That range of values should be appropriate for just about anybody's wallet and so I hope you will find some items worth bidding on among my picks today.
