The Weekend Rewind is published every Sunday morning and covers a roughly 48-hour window in the Boy Scout category of eBay. The first Weekend Update edition was published on October 11, 2009. This email began as a quick way to communicate on the biggest day for Scouting auctions to close on eBay - Sunday! In the early days I also used it to stuff in some updates on my other websites such as such as Patchblanket.com. Lately, I've been stuffing the email with plenty of live Hot Finds to compliment the other editions. The current format resembles the original Tuesday Morning edition - meaning that is stuffed with over five-dozen links to the best live auctions on eBay.

I want to let you know that even though this issue is coming out a day early it is still geared towards the 48 hour window of Sunday and Monday. So in a way this email newsletter wraps up 2011 and kicks off the new year. I've got a lot of new projects planned for 2012 and I am looking forward to growing the mission of the Hot Finds. Oh yes the volume of auctions has declined but when you are looking for good picks there are still more than enough to stuff the Hot Finds. There really isn't a headliner for this issue but rather a lot of good listings in the sweet spot where most of us can afford to splurge and pick up some good pieces. Have fun!

eBay Scouting Hot Finds Weekend Rewind: Best Strip Day Ever!This is the issue for anybody who likes collecting shoulder strips. You can find just about every kind of strip today including khaki & red 1/2 strips, old Jamboree flashes, RWS, and even rare state strips. I've also spotted several great lots of vintage items and lots of Eagle Scout memorabilia. In fact just about everything in this issue has a minimum price of $50 so today you only get the really good stuff!

eBay Scouting Hot Finds Weekend Rewind: How About Cyber Sunday? Its usually the case that Sunday is the biggest day for auctions to end in the Boy Scout category. However, thanks to a Cyber Monday special that might not be the case this week. Still all the auctions included here are ending in less than 48 hours and they are all getting bids and headed for a good finish. There isn't one dominant piece today but instead lots of great listings that have made this a very full newsletter.

It has a high reserve so we may not see a completed sale but its always fun to watch what the big boys are willing to do on the ultra rare pieces in our hobby. This is one of those Sunday's in the Boy Scout category of eBay where I left a lot of top picks on the table. I just couldn't find room in the newsletter for everything that was worthy of mention.
